Super Fruits and Vegetables

I would like to talk to all of you about Super Fruits and Vegetables.  Do you know what Super Fruits and Vegetables are?  These are the fruits and vegetables that provide the most health benefits.  We should be eating at least 7 of these a day according to the CDC (Centers for Disease Control).  You would be amazed at some of the benefits we are missing out on.  Here is a list of Super Fruits and Vegetables you should be eating every day.

Red grapefruit, Tomatoes, Red bell pepper, and Watermelon all contain lycopene which helps with the fight against Lung and Prostate Cancer.

Prunes, Blueberries and Grapes all contain anthocyanins which help ward off Heart Disease
by preventing clotting of blood.

Spinach, Broccoli, Brussels Sprouts, Collard Greens, and Bok Choy all contain Lutein, Folate and Sulforaphane both which help in preventing Heart Disease and help fight Cancer-causing chemicals before they harm the body.

Carrots, Mango, Pumpkin, and Oranges contain Beta Carotene which may help prevent  Lung, Esophagus and Stomach Cancer.

Cauliflower, Mushrooms, Banana and Onions these contain anthoxanthins and allicin, which can help lower blood pressure and protect against stomach cancer.

Remember to live like a real food pioneer you should either grow these fruits and vegetables or buy organically grown from your local Farmers Market or your local Fresh Market.
